Seminars and Classes

This is a frequently asked questions page with information about my seminars and classes.

What seminars do you teach?

I teach a variety of seminars on various subjects, including flowers such as morning glories, poppies, and calla lilies, and animals such as dogs, wolves, and birds.  I also teach seminars on modern porcelain designs.  Please see the section below titled "seminars" to see my available seminars.

When are you available?

You can call, write, or email me to check my availability.  I have openings throughout the year.  Although I am not available to teach at my studio at this time, I am available to travel to your club or class for on-location seminars.

How much do seminars cost?

The fee for a seminar is $225 per day for up to 10 students.  Additional students are $25 each per day up to a maximum of 12.  I try to keep the numbers low, because of the individual attention I give to each student.  Other costs include lodging and travel expenses, and cancellation fees where applicable.

How long are your seminars?

Most of my seminars take three to four days, depending on the subject.  Normal class hours each day are from 9 to 4 with a 45 minute lunch break.

Other Important Booking Information

Lodging

I will stay with a hostess or in a hotel, based on group preference, and the group will be responsible for any lodging fees.  I must have a non-smoking residence and a non-smoking work environment.

Travel

I charge $0.36 per mile for gas to travel to your location.  If I have to fly, then the group is responsible for the cost of my airfare.  If I am already in the area for a show or seminar, I will only charge the group the cost of travel from the show to your location.

Booking

Please call or write to schedule a seminar, workshop, or demonstration.  I require a deposit of 50% or one day's fee (whichever is less).  A 25% cancellation fee will be charged if cancellation occurs within 60 days of the scheduled seminar.
