MICHIGAN
REGISTRATION
Class assignment will be based on the earliest postmark on
the envelope containing your registration form. The date of your initial
deposit will have no bearing on class assignments. We will strive to provide
your first or second choice of classes.
If alternate choices are not listed you will he placed in a
class that has openings. In order to avoid this, please complete the full list
of teacher selections on the registration form. Class assignments, maps and
more specific information will be mailed at a later date.
If you have not already paid a deposit, a deposit of $45
must accompany your registration form. No registrations will be accepted without a deposit. Your full
tuition must be received by January 15, 2007 or you will lose your placement
preference.
The Center is located 45 miles northwest of
Housing includes single and double occupancy rooms with a
washbasin in each room and communal bath/shower (towels are supplied upon
arrival). Bring your own hangers, luggage carts, radio, extension cords, extra
pillow or small TV if desired.
OPTION:
Students may stay at a nearby motel (making their own reservations) and pay
day student tuition fees—lunch included. Breakfast and/or dinner are
available by arrangement.

The price of
tuition includes room and board, classes, class firing and evening
demonstrations and workshops. Firing will be done on campus. Two
pieces per student per day will be considered class work. Extra
firing will cost $1 per piece. Only pieces purchased in the China Shop will
be fired on campus. Class
pieces must be purchased in campus
$25 REWARD: Our students are our best advertisement. For each new porcelain-painting student you bring to the year 2008 school you will receive a $25 tuition discount. A new student is anyone who did not attend the 2007 MI PPAA school.
*The professional Porcelain Artists Associations (PPAA) is an international
organization of porcelain art teachers, a non-profit organization dedicated to
education in the field of porcelain art. Members of the association are
required to meet high standards as artists as well as teachers before they are
accepted into the organization. The teaching staff of association seminars is
chosen from this highly qualified and experienced membership.
