Dichroic Glass

Although I have always used dichroic glass in my modern pieces and in my jewelry, I have recently started firing dichroic glass by itself.  Because all of my glass is rated at 90 COE (coefficients of expansion) for glass fusing, it can be fired without porcelain.  The fired glass designs can then be used with silver clay and wire wrapping.  Here are some of my finished pieces:

Dichroic Glass Designs (not wrapped):

dichroic glass1.jpg (66055 bytes)    dichroic glass2.jpg (66636 bytes)    dichroic glass3.jpg (66045 bytes)    dichroic glass4.jpg (49136 bytes)

Dichroic Glass Designs (wire wrapped):

dichroic glass wrap3.jpg (101144 bytes)    dichroic glass wrap4.jpg (105714 bytes)    dichroic glass wrap5.jpg (76349 bytes)

Dichroic Glass Designs (with Silver Clay):

dichroic glass wrap1.jpg (43579 bytes)    dichroic glass wrap2.jpg (54163 bytes)    dichroic glass wrap6.jpg (129077 bytes)
